MANUFACTURINGS

When technology and precision combine each other

DIE-CUTTING

At TDA PACKAGING DESIGN , the traditional die-cutting method uses a heated plate, while high frequency die-cutting is based on electricity running through the cutter-die blades thus obtaining the soft crease, needed by companies that use automatic packaging machines. The transparent sheets are conveyed by an automated system with suction-cups which adhere to the material with extreme care so as to avoid scratches or marks.

GLUING AND PACKING

Gluing is the final operation and, under certain aspects, the most critical in the entire process. It is precisely here that all the experience and care of TDA PACKAGING DESIGN’s personnel play an important role, and make it possible to package products aesthetically unblemished by scratches, in line with the strictest quality requirements of customers.

MATERIALS

Quality packaging respecting the enviroment

PVC

PET

The material from which transparent packaging was born. PVC is the acronym for plyvinyl chloride resin, transparent packaging was born from this material in the 70’s. It is the most tested material and technically it is the easiest material to process, very flexible and pliable.

Versatile and ecologic. After the era of PET-G and PET-GAG, today TDA PACKAGING DESIGN has attained the top of aesthetic performances with A-PET and of environmental safeguard with R-PET. A highly performing cheaper material that is quickly replacing PVC. It guarantees a better aesthetic look than PVC, because it is more transparent, especially when printed from the inside.

POLYPROPYLENE

POLYSTYRENE

Difficult to work, has forced our technologists to give their best. Launched as an alternative to PVC, it immediately won designers for its outstanding innovative qualities: very versatile and with an incredible amount of finishes.

Polystyrene is ideal for a lot of applications as it combines high shock-resistance and easy-forming with not high costs. It is ideal for thermoforming and screen printing of for particular covers.

VARIETY OF PRINT

Only using the best print techniques

Always searching for new effects to create packaging with an eye-catching personality. Plastic is a very difficult material to manage during printing, because, differently from paper, it does not absorb and makes the basic ink formulas “go crazy”. Thanks to our experience and creativity, we are able to suggest to the customer the most appropriate process, or combination of processes, to reach the required goal. TDA PACKAGING DESIGN’s excellence: we invest in an accurate choice of inks, from the UV because they dry quickly, to the vinyl type in order to obtain different effects and achieve the various coverage targets.
